Duality—possessing and expressing two states; a Janus head, looking forward and back. Much like the concept of the homunculus, the tiny life form born of the primordial ooze, chrysopoeia refers to a generative process, one that is conceived by the merging and mutual metamorphosis of disparate ideas.
